Himachal Pradesh is counted amongst the most beautiful states in India and is situated in the north – eastern region. Trek in Himachal is quite popular and in this respect, many travelers visit the place quite often round the year. Several places constitute to be a part of the Himachal trekking map.

Himachal Pradesh has certain places that upon visiting for once imprint a permanent image in the minds of people. Some of them are mentioned below.

·         Pin Parvati

This is a mountain pass situated in Himalayan lap. It is known for its greenery and pasturelands. The best season for visiting the place is between July and September as otherwise the place remains under deep cover of snow for the rest of the time. The place is famous for pine trees and Buddhist monasteries that are the greatest attractions of the place.

·         Sar Pass

It is located in the Kulu district across the valleys of Pin Parvati. However, Sar Pas is popular for its scenic beauty and natural presence. The trekking route in Sar Pass involves crossing a frozen lake and this is what makes it famous. 

·         Beas Kund

This is a place popular for Beas River, which is considered to be a famous trek spot for all visitors and trekkers visiting the place. The trek originates from Manali and continues through Solang valley, which is further known for sky slopes.

·         Chandratal

Chnratal is popularly called “Lake of Moon.” It  is a small lake situated at quite a high altitude of 14100 feet in the Himalayas. The water of the lake is clear like crystal and the colour of it changes in various shades of blue as day progresses.
